ABOUT ME!

Hello, to whoever may be reading this, my name is Mahnoor Rashid Khan. I am taking Alevels Media Studies and studying at Beaconhouse College Campus Gulberg (BCCG). My subjects in alevels along with Media studies are Urdu and Global Perspective and Research. This blog will show my journey as a media student along with all of my coursework and projects.

If anyone asks me why I even have media studies as a subject, the only answer I give is. "That is the only thing I'm passionate about" and that is enough to justify my decision. My interest in media developed through photography, ever since I was a child, I remember going to our rooftop every day when the sun was setting and I would take numerous pictures of the sky, birds, clouds, and, well, basically everything that would come in front of the camera lens.

My love for photography made me delve into different forms of mediums of photography and search for different things as I got into film photography a few years back and bought a film camera. That film camera was a Yashica Electro 35gx (the same camera I'm posing with in the picture) and so far I have used up 3 rolls of film. To capture my photography journey, a friend of mine pushed me to make a VSCO account and so far all of my photographs are published there.
