MOODBOARD/INSPIRATION
The purpose of a mood board is to communicate a particular mood or concept, so a mood board for depression should aim to accurately and sensitively convey the experience of this mental health disorder. In my mood board, I wanted to show feelings of depression and sorrow and how can a person gets affected by these emotions they feel daily that they hide from everyone else around them.
LOCATION
A lovely Barood Khana Haveli can be found on the outskirts of Heera mandi. Near Pani Wala Talab and Koocha Langay Mandi is where you'll find the Haveli. This Haveli, also known as Mian Salahuddin's Haveli, is a stunning landmark. According to Mian Yousaf Salahuddin, unquestionably Lahore's cultural maestro, the once-largest armory in the city has been transformed into a place for glam and cultural evenings and a haven for the city's artistically minded.
As Yousaf Salli, Mian Yousaf Salahuddin is the grandson of Mian Amiruddin and Allama Muhammad Iqbal. In discussing the haveli's historical significance, he noted that it rose to prominence under the reign of Ranjeet Singh. It was primarily a corps commander's home when it was constructed for the commanding general of the Sikh army about 230 years ago. As it was customary for weapons, ammunition, gunpowder, and other supplies to be maintained with the army chief, it was constructed right across from Lahore Fort and was the largest arsenal outside of the fort. The general lived in a portion of the haveli, with the remaining space being used for offices and a munitions storage facility.

FOOTAGE SELECTION
In total, I took over 50+ raw videos, which had drone shots, extra camera shots, and insert shots as well, so in case anything were to go wrong the extra shots would compensate for that. I then selected and opened these shots, where I then began working on editing my music video.
EDITING
I first started by adding all the footage, I then overlaid it with the music audio and the official music video so that I could have the same time track, and thus began my editing journey. I first edited the insert shots and medium close-ups I took of the model. I left the space blank for all the drone shots as it was rendering and it was gonna take some time to add them to the music video.
After that, I began editing the intro of my music video. For that I added the eye-catching text “Broken” which was the name of the music video, I choose the colour yellow for it as it went well with my colour scheme, which was tones of brown and orange. Down below is the font I used in the intro of the music video:

Overall, I kept the editing really simple as I wanted the camera angles and shots to shine out as in my survey these were wildly voted for. I also focused on the mise-en-scene as well as I wanted it to be attractive to the viewer's eye.

I asked the model, who is also my friend, to pose in front of a window with natural sunlight, so I could take some pictures of him to make some merch, Out of the few he sent me, I like this one the best, I edited the colours and turned it into a black and white picture. I then opened it in photoshop and using the brush tool I blurred out his eyes to add to the "mysterious" effect as they say "eyes are the windows to the soul" which would thus make the viewers curious and would push them to get to know the artist.

I used canva to make the album cover as I could easily search for stickers and different fonts as everything is available in one place to make a professional-looking album cover/
